Team Math (Leaving Cert level)
Team Math
competition has been a long-running activity of the Irish Maths Teachers’
Association, with local rounds for many years and local and National Finals since 2005.
Team Math is a table quiz for teams of up to 4 students from Leaving Cert year,
with questions based on the leaving cert higher level syllabus. Regional
Rounds were held on the evening of Friday January 28, 2011. winning teams qualified for the National Final in the University of Limerick on Saturday
March 5, 2011.

Junior Cert level - entries currently being accepted for 2012
The Irish Junior
Maths Competition has been held for 1st Year Students since 1994.
It consists of a school round where multiple choice brain teasers are
answered within a 40 minute period. Results are sent back to coordinator,
Mr. Michael Moynihan (Cork Branch) and, based on results, students are
invited to a regional final.
