Tim Brophy's Lecture:
An excellent lecture and workshop was presented on the Saturday morning by IMTA colleague, Mr Tim Brophy, on teaching the theorems by the new approach - using Geogebra as a teaching tool.
Tim's lecture notes and slides have been made available for personal use by members here

Team Math competition 2012
Please note that Round 1 of the Team math competition for LC Honours maths students will take place as planned on Fri. Jan 27 in the various branch centres. Contact local Branch for details.
Competition rules are the same as last year, except that Geometry & Sequences / Series are EXCLUDED.
There may be some non-routine maths questions.
